I guess you are being sarcastic here. For the record, Jeff's father fought in WWII and came home with a German pistol (or something like that). Jeff got interested and started collecting Nazi memorabilia. Although Slayer got criticized for "Angel of Death", the members are in no way fascists or right extremists.

I have owned an ESP CS Hanneman signature, urban camo with the eagles. Sick guitar for sure. The version with SS-daggers is a step too far for me.

As someone pointed out already, the Nazi's (ab)used several historic symbols that are now associated with the Nazi regime. It depends on your background whether you want such a symbol on your guitar or not. I will say this, however. Even today I still cannot imagine what people have endured during WWII. The impact it had on my family and many others make me feel uncomfortable with guitars like these, including the Iron Cross guitar (Hetfield). So I decided not to have guitar like that at all anymore (one of the reasons why I sold it). I understand that context is important, but people have short memories and the common perception is just different.

As for Reverb, I do not expect them to have this kind of historical knowledge.

Yes I totally understand. You are woke. You originally bought and owned those hateful guitars only to realize you may in fact be a Nazis. So naturally you had to sell the guitars to redeem your soul. It's a good thing you were able to sell them before Reverb's policy change, otherwise you would be SOL.

In the 25 years I’ve been using the internet, I’ve rarely come across a poster who has been involved in so many mud-slinging posts/threads as Krull. I’m sure to some low-level thinkers that’s an achievement, but I’m actually curious what runs through the minds of people like that.

I can’t see the original guitar with the stickers or whatever (fuck those SS.org bitches) but we’ve all seen the Hanneman ESPs and understand why they could be a problem. It’s a different world now, people are more educated on the history of those symbols, and more vocal about them. It’s not unreasonable at all if Reverb doesn’t want “Nazi” imagery on their website.

I don’t need to reflect on anything. I’ve got an awesome life that I’ve busted my ass to achieve. If you’re of the belief I’ve spent every waking hour on the internet for the past 25 years, that’s a you problem and certainly not a me problem.

Adjust your sights to your deathbed and ask yourself if all this negativity you consistently spew will be worth it at that point. I know when I’m on mine, I’ll be able to look back and be happy that I’ve corrected the wrongs in my life and have treated people exactly how I wanted to be treated, on and off the internet.
