Lovie's Guitars is awesome, especially if you like vintage guitars!
Definitely call first, might be closed on weekends

Imperial and Ventura music are my favorite for vintage stuff. Lovies guitars in Thousand Oaks and Angel City is awesome for high end boutique stuff.

Thanks. Just checked Angel City, wooow there's some really expensive stuff LOL

Wild west guitars has an awesome inventory. Just call and make an appointment. My nephew Glen is a Manager there. He'll take care of you well...

Black Market Music was awesome….when I was there on Sunset was GC, Johnny Guitar, Sunset Custom (ESP / Schecter custom shops), Carvin, Mesa Boogie and Amp Crazy all right together. Then we would go to Nadine’s…lots of Pawn Shops too. Sure they are all gone now.

Yep, I bought my Quad pre, Strategy 400 and TC2290 as well as a rack from there back in the mid 80's. I went to the one in Orange County. Near Garden Grove? Been so long....

Found what I was looking for at Instrumental Music in Thousand Oaks. A very nice and killer sounding used Gibson Les Paul Custom Axcess in trans-ebony. The manager, Johnny, was super-friendly and gave me a nice discount. Can't recommend the shop enough. They have some very nice items.

BTW, I'm listening to KLOS HD1 FM in the car since the beginning of the week and it's an endless stream of 80s classic/hard/heavy rock interspersed with nuggets of 90s/00s metal. Really feels like the radio programmer is a rig-talk member LOL
