Jokes aside, the ESP Alexi fits quite nicely with this. But the LP, especially a gold top, does not belong in this kinda genre of music. Maybe the tone it produces, sure, but the looks just does not fit. IMO.

Does Jimmy Page or Joe Perry mesh with this......

What exactly is a rock/metal guitar? Answer: any guitar that you play rock/metal with. I never really played along with the fitting in thing. FWIW, these are my two main guitars that I play everything on. Mostly hard rock/metal. Maybe I'm supposed to be playing "indie" music with them. I like many different headstocks but the Blackmachine headstock is pretty damn cool.
