Couple of clips of our amp

I always am disappointed by the amps that have all the features it seems, because they seem to never do one thing real well and do a ton of things so so. But this seems to do a lot of things real well! Eager to hear the finished product!
I'm with you there. Jack of all sounds, master of none. Not to mention the option paralysis.
But the Hellion nails a ton of awesome sounds, once you learn how to dial it in, and it sounds superb.
Sounds like Zen has this figured out.
Looking forward to its release!

+1 That mode is worth the purchase price alone!

Stop saying ignorant shit like this.

No wonder amps keep staying stupid expensive, then they make another one with 2 resistor changes and call it a different model because cork sniffers actually have those views of "oh this one sound based on a clip is worth the price alone hurr hurrddyyy hurrrrrr"

I swear. Straight clown asses. 🤦🏻‍♂️

All the clips sound great!
I really like that last one.
I wouldn’t mind hearing the clean…

Due to popular demand (I'm looking at you @Nashville Riff Co) here's a few new clips of the Zen prototype amp. Before you ask, no I don't know when it'll be ready for release! Everything is taken 5x longer than it should, but it's coming along great.

It's a multi-mode amp that will cover a lot of ground. This is the Cameron/CCV mode:

Diezel Herbert mode (metal, single)

Herbie (metal, doubled)

And 2203 mode from ages ago

More of a warmer tone on this, may have been G12 65's.

I leave the Mayer-esque clean tones for now, perhaps the wrong crowd.

Sounds great!!

Sounds fantastic. Is this all analog (as it pertains to the preamps/eq at least)?
Yep - big glass, big American iron. All the good stuff.

Sounds great!! How much is the approximate price range??
Hard to say right now, but will be at the higher end of the market. The poor Aussie dollar hasn't been super helpful these last few years.

Drop those Mayer clips bro, lol

Ok, ok! Noodling and directionless but you asked for it.

There are a number of US and UK cleaner options onboard but it's pretty hard to beat 60's Fender types. I had the first one dialled in pretty bright and with new strings so don't expect warm and jazzy.

Clean strat:

Mild breakup Tele:

2203 mode is lush, bit tighter than Steve Clark's but thats all good, still got the tone

Straight to Jail for the Mayer tone reference, I’m sorry
