Covid. Scary

So true. Almost like the lockdowns were a coordinated plan.

I knew that last March.

I knew what they were doing.

And while the little guy was struggling to make ends meet, those calling for lockdowns were still getting paid.

Time for a virus that locks down certain members of gov't.

My wife and I caught the C19 around Thanksgiving. Ive had allergies that made me feel worse. In any other time I wouldn't have thought twice about it.

Here is the thing about this virus. It exploits the weaknesses of its host. Hunts it down and exaggerates the issue. I dont want to get all conspiracy theory'd out but I find it quite odd as it seems to have an intelligence of its own. I cant help but think it has had some influence of the human kind.

My mom died last month from covid. 64 years old. No pre-existing conditions. She was pretty healthy. Started with just a little cough. After testing positive, her doctor told her to just keep an eye on her O2 level with the little finger monitor. We all thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but she just kept getting worse. Crazy thing is, she worked from home and rarely went anywhere. When she did have to go out, she always wore a mask.

I have since learned of a 31 year old acquaintance (also healthy beforehand) that just died from it.

Is it real? Absolutely.
Do masks work? Hell if I know. It didn't seem to with her.
But I can tell you I've never known anyone that died from the flu. I know it can happen, but in my 38 years on this earth, I've never seen it firsthand.

Sorry about your mother. Cloth masks really don't work well, at all. They should not be used more than once or for more than 4 hours. N95 and higher masks work better at preventing Covid exposure, You do need to change them out after 5 days of wearing. Doubling of N99 masks and rotating them so you don't wear the same masks in a 72-hour timeframe is the safest strategy.

Masks do work but only under strict way of using it. DO NOT TOUCH IT when it is on your face except for taking it off. Then sanitize your hands. When you see people constantly touching it, adjusting it etc, that makes the mask much less effective. Also remember, masks do NOT protect you, they protect others. You can wear a surgical mask but if someone else is not and has Covid and coughs near you, you are screwed unless you have an N95 mask on. Even with that, the touch feely actions of most people negate the effects of using the mask pretty dramatically.

Very sorry for your loss. I too know people that have died from it, no family yet. Must be devastating 🫂

The masks offer a little protection from you getting it. However the masks do help quite a bit to keep infected people from spreading it. When we speak, cough, and sneeze the virus is contained (riding) in saliva droplets. These droplets are large enough to get mostly caught in the fibers of the masks.

Again my condolences to you, and your family

Sorry to hear about your mom iplayloudly. That sucks.

Such sad news, iplayloudly.

My heart goes out to you, mate.

On a positive note, regular flu is down a lot. Just last week only 23 cases were reported when there is usually 14,000+ cases. Covid is a miracle cure for the regular flu.

Remember, hospitals were being paid thousands of dollars per patient ($5K?) if they could meet a certain quota (52?) of COVID-19 affected patients.

This explains fully why the stats are bullshit, and why there were many reports of hospitals slapping the COVID-19 tag on deaths that were not even related.

When judges are putting prisoners in front of the elderly for the vaccine

Give it up guys, you can't have your cake and eat it too!

You first say Covid is a scam, fake news, product of democrats scare tactics, people dying from other causes are listed as death by covid so they make money, yadda yadda yadda. Now you surely can't believe all those old people died of Covid, No Fucking Way! Right?

Now back to reality..... Cuomo should be impeached and removed from office immediately
