D-Moll Review in German

The mids on the K100 are much lower in the 200
to 1000 Hertz range. That´s what I call the right
mids. The V30 sounds more organic in the clean
department. So we need an extra cab for each
channel

Cheers,
Peter

Ok, more low mids, less high mids then! Seems you prefer the K100s.
I'll still have one V30 cab!
But I don't play clean with the band anyway. ;)

I don´t prefer the K100 because I´m deaf for some reason
and need the presence of the V30 ;)
I would try both types in x pattern though this is
causing some phase shift.

I still hear 18 or 19000Hz, so I shouldn't need that 2-3kHz pain. :D

My D-Molleste, soon to be inbound. Thanks for the pic Peter.....

HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!! Stevie's on board.... WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

And as for K100s, damn straight they've got "the right mids". I swear after listening to years worth of cabs with V30s, you walk away mid deaf

D-Moll is gaining traction - awesomeness!!
Uncle Mo

The Session Music clip sounds absolutely stunning. Been waiting to hear some good clips first.......

Peter......you've got mail.

No email till now, Steve. Was it adressed to
Peter Stapfer or Peter Diezel ?

Best,
Peter

Stapfer emailed me back with the goods....

Thought I sent it to you though. Either way, we're good when the bank opens tomorrow :D

Love mine! It sounded crushing last night at practice. It cuts incredibly well especially considering I dialed it in with a lot of gain and low mids. Sounded stupid good with Natasha.

There's also much more bite in that sound! The D-Moll demo lacks bite!
If I see that correctly there's just a royer up against the rearloaded V30 Bogner in sessionmusic's demo, so I am afraid it's a bit comparing pineapples and coconuts when you compare that to a dynamic mic on a frontloaded cab with a different amp. (No idea why they left out the usual 57 or 906 here)

I think you can hear the gain and the tone well and true in sessionmusic's demo; the only thing that really is missing is dedicating more time to the gorgeous Ch1 clean and lowgain sounds! He pretty much left that out :(

He's trying to move product. How it handles gain and holds together is what will sell the amp to most people.
