Diezel 2x12 w/ hempcones or V30s?

Hi guys, sorry if something like this has been posted before.

I'm just about to order a new 2x12 Diezel cab to go with my VH4. I spoke to James, the UKs distributer and he is recommending the rear-loaded 2x12, and is also saying that Peter is raving about the hemp cone speakers. As I won't be able to try it out before purchase, I'm looking for recommendations on front-loaded or rear-loaded speakers, and more importantly the difference or recommondation of the hemp cones compared with the V30s?


If it helps, I play relatively technical metal (in the vein of Testament meets a less detuned Meshuggah) and already own a Mesa 4x12 cab, which I'm considering using in addition to the new Diezel 2x12 in my live rig.

With the VH4, I would almost always go with a front loaded cabinet. Beings to my advice on a front loaded cabinet I would then suggest the G12K100 speaker in that cabinet. IMO, it is the best speaker and cabinet we make for the Vh4.......again, my opinion. This is not to say that the rear loaded cabinet sounds bad as it truly sounds amazing (better then any other cabinet I have ever tried). I hope this helps.
