Yeah, make sure to check out all features (rtfm) of your gear before forming an opinion and selling it without even understanding the basic features.

Yes Sir  Relax Scott, it is a little hard when none of the stores do not carry them in hand. I read a ton of reviews and word of mouth on the herbert before I got it. You say tomato I say potato, thanks a language thing inn't?

Hey Sean, nice rig..

Can you please try for me, if you can get from VH4S with one side master volume set down and used only one side of amp..so about 50 or 60 W .. if there is any difference between it´s sound and the sound of VH4 mono?
I am interested in difference in bedroom level.. in headroom of the cleans and other channels tone (if it is more organic when running VH4S half side than 120W of VH4 mono at low volumes) and so.. if the VH4S when used only on half side is mor open than VH4 mono at bedroom levels or there is no difference..

I´m interested because I have VH4 mono, which I bought, cause I thought, that it could have more heavy sound, when it is mono 120W than 2x 60W, but maybe I was wrong, and for me, the VH4S would be maybe better.. because of possibility of running only half of the amp and have in this way 60W VH4 for practice at home or for smaller clubs..

Thanks a lot  , It would really help me

Thanks man, I dunno......they both are loud as heck. I have a house so I really never try them at bedroom level, I am always blasting them and thus killing my hearing ;) I use one side usually, especially for recording, as I hate the speakers in my black front loaded cab. :(

Dont worry.. I really long time was changeing in my VHT forntloaded 1x12 cabinet Eminence speaker 100W and V30 celestion. When I did install one inside.. I felt it´s much better than the previous, but few days later I changed it again.. and this I was doing about half a year manytimes.. :D . For my taste.. Eminence are nice for cleans.. but for distorted channels they are something like Electrovoice, that I had too... not that warm sound.. but more transparent..I think that eminence speakers do their job for amps like VHT, that don´t really have so big level distortion and bass so they are very agressive amps in my taste and not so hi gain like Diezel. Now I have inside V30 Celestion.. the cleans are not strong response in bass, but.. I prefear it..And I found that greenbacks are good too, it depends on what volume level are you useing your amp. For lower volumes.. greenbacks are bettwer than V30.. but vhen you crank the amp up..than V30 are better than greenbacks.. greenbacks are somehow fluffy or how to describe it, they can´t handle the bass and distortion ( I mean overdrive ofcourse, cause Diezels don´t have distortion but overdrive or comprimed overdrive, but I always call it distrortion :) ).. So I really liked my VH4 on 4x12 Marshall with greenbacks too.. for lower volumes and not so big higain [but by the way, I found out that Korn was useing with their Marshall JCM900 era 4x12 greenback cabinets too, and it´s numetal.. so some reason was there too :) ]
I found out that Greenbacks are not really bad.. warm nice sound... but for bigger volumes and higain.. for me the V30 rules... Diezel Frontloaded cabinet with V30 is my advise  so change eminence for V30, and I think, you sholud be happy with it..

I know you like Metallica, somewhere I found on web, that in some of their cabinets they have X pattern combination of V30 and Electrovoice, so maybe Diezel X pattern cabinet is really good choice too to try it
Joe Satriani uses cabinets with V30 and cabinets with greenbacks together..so I think speakers and their combinations it´s an Alchemy too :D
