Diezel and brutality

Hey guys,
you may know that im interested in the diezel herbert. Im playing in a metalcore/deathmetal band but in my freetime (is that correct english ???) im playing jazz and lots of dream theater and joe satriani. Thats the point where the Diezels came in, i need very flexibel amps. The only questions is the herbert or the vh4, ther herbert is more brutal but im totaly confused that bands like korn, killswitch engage, etc. are useing the vh4. I mean its a beast too but ther herbert ...
So which amp do you think fits better into the metalcore/deathcore style the vh4 or the herbert?
