This is from a while back, yet there are still “older” cabs out there.

The German Cabs are superior, no doubt.
I have a pair of FL 4X12’s, one with V30’s and one with K100’s...KILLER!!!!!

In reference to the one in your pic, it’s difficult to tell from just the front shot if it’s “real.”
There are some distinguishing features of the backplate that would help to determine it’s origin.
Can you get jack plate pics??

Thanks for the reply. If you follow the link I shared, it should take you to a GC used page that allows you to select between two images, one front and one jack-plate image.

I wish I could side-by-side an old and new cab to hear the difference myself, however, with Covid-19 it's even tougher than normal to try to find a Diezel cab of any type to try locally. One thought I had is to get one of these older cabs with V30's and throw a pair of K100's in there to have a nice mix. Not sure that I really need the "best" Diezel has to offer, as this will be used primarily for recording and jamming in the home studio with my kids.

Thanks!

So, I did look at the second pic in the link.
Sorry I missed that earlier.

That’s confirms USA Diezel cab.
Not necessarily bad, simply not the newer German made can with the internal baffles.

I’ve had one and it wasn’t bad at all, I just prefer the Front loaded, a bit more “in your face.”
That said, if you are looking for a cab, that’s not a great price.
It would be more decent for a German made, yet the USA cabs usually go for much less. Especially if you are then going to throw a pair of K100’s in it, unless you already have those.

That’s at least $1K for a USED cab, Diezel of not. I mean for $1K I’d probably sell you one of mine, since I have 2 full stacks

Hope this helps a bit...

No problemo!

The local cab I can get would be $500 and I have the K100's, so not so much cost.

Here's another one I found. This is the only pic I have of this one, looks to be front loaded, most likely older, right?

The interesting thing is that the 2x12's used to be enough for the room here at the house, but since I treated the room with Rockwool (corner bass traps), OC 703/704 panels and such, the room really allows me to open up amps more to hear the amp more than the room, if you know what I'm saying. It's magical.

Anyways, thanks for the assist.
