hey man, how would you compare the Two Rock next to it to the Einstein? clean/crunch/ etc?

Thanks Borin!

To answer Joey's question, I would say they really are apples and oranges. The Two-Rock Schofield is a American voiced clean machine; 6L6 driven, like a souped up Two-Rock Classic Reverb, or the best Fender Super Reverb you ever heard but more 3D and with greater headroom. The Schofield also has a clean tone like a freaking laser beam, glassy and smooth, but really cuts unlike anything I have heard to date, it can hurt if you want it to. Single channel amp, not a lot of drive unless you crank it, but takes pedals like a champ and passive series fx loop works great with Strymon El Cap and Flint.

The Einstein (which I have owned/played for all of one hour at the moment) has the best cleans of an EL34 amp that I have played personally. I typically don't like the cleans on British tubed amps (very subjective, just personal taste), too much "bite" for my ear if that makes sense, and I miss that thundering low E string and glassiness typically found on the blackface Fenders. Well, the Einstein totally flipped my stereotype. Still British, but smoother to my ear, very hifi sounding crisp cleans, but not abrasive. Has more character than an American amp, not better/worse, just different, I really like it. Totally hooked on voicing two (Texas) of channel one. Channel 2 just turn this thing into a beast, absolute rocker, I don't think there is anything I can add to the hype surround Diezel overdrive channels, other than I now understand what all the fuss is about. Need some more time to explore settings, tones, etc, but I am absolutely floored with it thus far.

Diezel Einstein Combo, stock, demo'd with a G&L Legacy w/ Lollar Tweed & Blonde p/u's. Channel 1 set to "Texas", volume adjustment on guitar ramps up through first part of clip. Channel 2 has gain about 50%, guitar volume adjustment decreased at end. No pre-amp effects, Analogman Mini Chorus (not even 10% wet), Strymon El Cap and Flint run in serial effects loop. Bought from Andy at Diffusion Audio, very smooth deal and great sounding amp!!!

Recorded with Q3HD.

Second demo, this time with Scumback BM75 and no El Cap (just sold it to pick up Providence Chrono DLY-4!)

Thanks Sigma, I definitely understand what they mean now by you first Diezel is usually not your last, cheers
