Diezel news at NAMM 2014

In the TK demo ch1 feels like the dmoll ch1 with more gain available and a bit more "juice" - and the dmoll ch1 just has the best sounding spank and especially best low-gain ever!!! That with some extra overdrive on tap sounds like an instant winner!

Yes, Channel 2 kicks ass! It is a high gain amp. Forget it has a channel 1. Not a good clean channel, but hey, who buys a Diezel for the cleans? To me, CH2 was warmer and more organic then other Diezel amps. CH2 has enough gain to cover channels 2-4 on the others. VH4 is still the most scooped of the bunch, Hagen is most versatile overall amp with more of a modern sound then the Lil Fokker. We compared the Fokkers CH2 to the CH3 of the Hagen, and the VH4. It has as much crunch and jug as the Hagen, but more mids and warmth(to my ear). I heard it was being compared to The VH4's CH3, and I thought it sounded very different then the VH4. If you are a pure modern metal god, most likely not going to be your amp. If you play variety and throw in some hard classic rock along with your metal, Lil Fokker kicks major ass! I forgot to ask price...dammit. And no pedal there to try.
Just one mans take on a 30 minute noisy NAMM Demo.

Oh Peter, please don´t worry! Looks a bit like that spell with the Badehose and schwimmen...

If you created the clean even more better than the one from Hagen/D-Moll, it´s not that bad at all :)

I´m very confused of all that judging the amp what it sounds like by a YT-Video...
 
That video blew totally I had Hagen the Hagen n ch 3 was primo. I had the vh4 it's ok. Herbert is still fkn king. But I miss ch3 on Hagen. Had a nice crunchy bite. That video is lame I imagine that Fokker rips harder than that. Yes?

Never never trust a mobile phone for a demo! The demo sucks, the amp sounds excellent.
Crunchy like the Hagen but more vintage warmth.
 
I figured. Peter is the guy who can through shit at a wall n it becomes art. Diezel amps reign supreme.
 
All the videos I heard now sounds very bad.
This is not an excuse, You guys knows by
yourself how to justice the amp standing
in front.

In the meanwhile I ordered some good mics
to get me a small home recording. as soon as
it is ready, send me some re amp files and
I will do the job for you.

But first I have a to get out a tone from my Cubase :cry:

I have a MD421, Royer R101 and a Royer R121 going to a RME Fire Wire unit.
Cannot spend more money at the moment and don´t want to built an
extensive recording studio. Having enough rooms with and without
wood floors and different size.

I played this amp allot and NAMM and it was one of my favorites. Total Diezel vibe. Channel 1 was awesome and channel 2 sounded like channel 3 of the VH4 to me. Total Diezel DNA at a great price point.

- The Lil Fokker will be cheaper than the D-Moll (OK no big surprise but good to have that confirmed)
- Oli thinks the Lil Fokker's lead channel somewhat resembles the Herbert w.r.t attack and the VH4 w.r.t. its "warm" mids
- Diezel will show some other new product at Musikmesse (!)

Can anyone translate more details ? :D

Nothing special at all. We'll see. Only how many jobs are done on this amp and it still works. And that he made the painting of the board and so on.
I thought you guys would like to see Papa in action. :D
 
Peter, you should consider a pass around demo unit. Kyle Rhodes did this and I believe it's pure genius. There are several of us on Rig Talk that have the ability to make nice sounding clips. I'd love to do some clips of the Fokker and demo it in my home. I'd bet $5 my Hagen clips didn't hurt your sales...:)
