well said brad.

Supersonic, you hit the nail in the head when you said that Diezel Amps uncover ppl sloppy technique and poor playing. They are UNFORGIVING! which I LOVE, I must say my playing has improoved A LOT since owning a Diezel amps.

You must have never played a VHT :D

Try pulling off a 3 note per string legato run on a stock Plexi and then you will know unforgiving.

Having been fortunate to have owned all the Diezels available so far, I must say that any one of them is easily capable of getting any tone desired that I have needed for studio work, and stage work from my guitars.

The people stating that (name your favorite Diezel amp here) is not capable of offering vast amounts of variety and flexibility are possibly not the type of musicians that can handle what the amps are able to deliver, or possibly only interested in a narrow style of music where they just prefer a different sound, or sounds that are available on Diezel amps, but not found by these people making negative comments. (just a guess here)

When I read these negative reviews and/or comments by people not liking Diezel amps, I understand that everyone's taste and hearing are different. However, having played continuously for 53+ years and still playing all the time professionally, I find it hard to fathom how anyone can not find their particular sound from Diezel amps.

Lately, due to financial reasons, I have had to sell off my Herbert, which really broke my heart. But, playing through my Einstein, I still find all the tones I need with ease and without feeling that I have sacrificed a specific tonal requirement needed by me for my playing.

Other players have told me that my amps sounds as a Marshall, only better, as a Bogner, only better, and the list of what others hear from my amp in their ears, goes on and on concerning what they think my amp reminds them of. All of this using only one guitar, and one amp. Yet all I am doing, is getting from the amp, my sound for the music I am playing.

In the end, it all comes down to the player, their ability to actually play well through the amp they desire, be it a tight sounding amp, or one that provides something in their ears that is more forgiving, or feels the way they desire an amp to sound.

I think, personally, that Diezel players are on a level somewhat higher and different from other players in their ability to hear what the Diezel is offering and take full advantage of all that it potentially has to offer for the player. This does not mean that every player is one of the best out there, although I believe that in their given style and ability, they are a cut above many other players.
They understand what the Diezel amp can do for them, and they understand tone and make the most use of this potential within their given talent range. That is all anyone can ask of themselves and their choice of Diezel amps.

Hey, if I'm wrong on my viewpoint, sue me, but I believe Diezel owners are a special group of people who are a cut above everyone else.
