The VH2 is a great Amp. Exceptionally well built. Ultra low noise floor. Best sounding Diezel for me. But i just can't get any pinch harmonics out of it.
Any tips?
Any tips?
Thanks! Did you get any natural pinch harmonics out of the VH2? I can't. Neither with or without a boost. Other than that it's pretty cool. Pinch Harmonicless is the Dealbreaker though...I really enjoyed your Mr. Mansfield Preamp Clip recently btw.Just listening on my phone but I dig both. VH2 sounds really cool with this riffage
Thanks! It's a very nice amp for sure. But i don't get the natural harmonics. What about you? That is sick as fuck. I mean, I lean marshall by small margin. But it could be different in room. My vh2 was one of my favorite amps.
To be honest, that part of your comment had me curious. I bring out harmonics so much with some of the shit i play/pick/pick position/finger sensitivity that it seems like i would notice something like that. But it was so fucking long ago. Thanks! It's a very nice amp for sure. But i don't get the natural harmonics. What about you?
Me either . But I can do it on acoustic any time I need to . But ya vh2 gets way juicy !I had no issues with harmonics playing a VH2
Are we talking about pinch harmonics created with the thump? To be honest, that part of your comment had me curious. I bring out harmonics so much with some of the shit i play/pick/pick position/finger sensitivity that it seems like i would notice something like that. But it was so fucking long ago.
This has me wondering about other amps. I know when playing my randall solid state, i got them when running a boost. You dont sound like you are lacking gain. Are you turning the master to noon or higher?
Dude...You're either good at pinches or you're not. The way it is yo
No. Not in this clip.Maybe I’m missing something, but this isn’t the style of playing I normally associate with pinch harmonics. Is there supposed to be pinch harmonics in this clip?
Like i said: It's a very nice amp. But it only does crippled pinch harmonics. Did you never experience that in an amp? Boosted Rectifiers pinch like crazy for example. 6505s too. Marshall Plexis does it with an DS1 in Front. They are simply more open and less compressed.Me either . But I can do it on acoustic any time I need to . But ya vh2 gets way juicy !
No. You asked me about natural harmonics. Pinch harmonics, i do a digging motion with my thumb. Im not very good at doing them fluidly. I am not goot at squeelies either. Are we talking about pinch harmonics created with the thump?
Master to noon? No. I'm not crazy. Depends on the channel volume though. But the issue has nothing to do with my technique...
