Peter wasn't being disrespectful. He was telling TM to contact him. He's cool like that and he'll actually modify his own amps to the users' liking instead of having a God complex and thinking his designs are perfect as is (though many think they are;)

I'd love that, I don't like that compression sound. Like a
Compression pedal is in front of the amp, tone wise it's hard
To beat. But that sound kills me.

Well, same here, but I won't ship my amp to USA from Europe and back, I'm not gonna pay customs (and value added tax probably) for my OWN amp. Especially when it's something about 25% of its worth

Without a doubt, but I thought Peter offered that mod? In Germany?

I'll send him an email later regarding that mod.

I had the mod done to my Einstein combo. It really opened the amp up. It sounded great before but just made it more versatile to my ears. Jens was very easy to deal with and seemed extremely knowledgable. And I have had zero issues with this mod. Is very clean and neat also work wise.

I have a VH4 with the mod. It is awesome. If you want to open up the amp from its compressed nature then this will do it. Plus the mod is a pot in the back of the amp and can be completely bypassed with it all the way down. I was lucky enough to buy a used VH4 with the mod already done so I have no experience actually sending the amp in to get it done.

Plenty of expensive amps get modded.

I can't remember who I sold mine to.
Was it you?
I needed money for a new Harley, but definitely regret selling this amp...
And yes, he mod is good.

Oh crap
I just bought a DMoll & thought about saving future shipping by sending it right to Jens
I chose to try it stock first...I'm sure it'll slay regardless, but will it be flip-proof
Tune in next month...
