Andy your 2 p/u TAG is maple/mahogany? you'll love the H2+. while there will be slightly less "punch" from the p/up, you'll probably gain a bit more fundamental wood tone from the H2+ while still pushing the input.

yeah its maple mahog, with a rosewood fretboard and h1 in the neck that just rocks! btw that guitar is just a 3 way blade so the split sound isnt a concern. you think h2+ is the order mike? any other suggestions?

Hey Andy, the guitar tones on "Delirium" and "Dead on the Vine" SLAY! IIRC, that's your H/S/H, basswood/maple DT, in which I'd keep the H3.

If you're looking for a slight change to a more fundamental mahog tone, the H2+ in your other DT will definitely be the right choice. Less "boom" on the lows in exchange for a little more cut in the mids, IMHO.

very cool! yeah there is no chance im changing my main ride! it rocks! but i might give that h2+ a shot in my mah/maple 2 pickup
thanks for the advice!

I'm interested in how the H2 compares to the H2+. As mentioned earlier I have a H2 installed and have tried the H3 but find the H3 a little too compressed for my ear. Anyone tried the H2 and H2+?
