I saw Divine Heresey last Nov. and they played a great set. I don't care for the vocals but the energy was good. I also thought Dino's tone was too middy.

I met Fear Factory on the Obsolete Tour, and they were all REAL nice guys, except for Dino, he was HUGE dick to everyone, the singer apologized to everyone for his behaviour... But it was all cool, Dude can play.

He had his Marshalls at that show.... FUCK those things were AWESOME!!! I loved his tone on those Marshalls.

His old tone was from a Jose modded Marshall. One of the sickest I've heard! I remember hearing him on Ozzfest back then and I was like WTF is that tone, SICK!!!!!

I read an interview with him recently where he said he had wanted to pursue it for a while, but I think he said he never got beyond doing his own. He'd be Ron Jeremy's latino metalhead cousin. Man, I feel sorry for anyone who stumbles onto that, it would scar you for life.

It takes talent to sing like this?! Who did this guy study with? Do you know what vocal and breathing exercises he uses? Operatic aproach, or Seth Riggs speach level technique? If it took so much talent to sing like this there wouldn't so many people doing this same thing. It takes NO talent to be angry.

This is incorrect nobody including Dino knows who modded his Marshall's. Dino forgot the modders name and I think that Jose wasn't even alive when his amp was modded (though this could be incorrect). Dino had a few different Marshalls modded by the mysterious LA amp modder guy but only one sounded like that. I remember reading that the Splawn Nitro was supposed to be based on this tone but, unfortunately after listening, I haven't heard any clips or seen videos to the effect of nailing this tone (though I do like some Nitro clips).
