Dio: Last in Line - 1984

We saw Dio, on those first two tours, at Cal Expo, in Sacramento. Great shows; Dio’s vocals, Vivian’s guitar playing, a couple of the Black Sabbath tunes. Whitesnake was the opening band for one of the shows. Sykes was a monster.

Saw the shows here that were in driving distance for a 17 yr old . Ronnie’s always had some killer opening acts and these shows were no exception. Y&T and Whitesnake at the Sacramento show and Dokken at the Oakland show View attachment 322086View attachment 322089
