Thanks Michi and I'll keep that in mind when another project comes up that may be of interest on this forum. This thing is almost done, in fact, I looked at it this morning and am debating on whether I want another coat of lacquer or to just mount it.

Looks great! Keeps the Mrs happy too probably - saving space is more justifiable than "not another guitar"....:)
 
That's going to be awesome. Do you have a flex neck to get at the screw holes behind the angled mount? I have one of those Milwaukie close quarters drill and it's a fabulous tool.

Yes it is! Had mine for about8 years @$19 and not a problem with it.

Good eye and yes, got it covered. I did what I could to make sure none were behind the brackets but still ended up with one.
