I think they just used a "douchebag" plug in in post production. That and they shot it in "Dubly" with soft lighting which makes people seem extra Douchey.

I know that Bro, ya missed the point. I really dont See DJ coming of as you described in the afformentioned video. It makes me wonder if youve ever seen Mayer interviewed because that guy exudes all of the qualities that you attribute to DJ erroneously.

My point is that I find it ironic and hard to fathom that a guy could be a fan of an obviously douchy and pretentious guy like Mayer and not see it while accusing a guy who isnt of having those qualities..

I bought a guitar or 2 Directly from Dj back about 10 years ago.
The more "famous" guitar was this one....
The Skull guitar with the Chains wrapped around it.
Dj Handcarved it himself. George liked it so much he put a pic of it on the Inside of the Lynch/Pilson Cd cover.
He was always super cool and we emailed quite a bit. He had some bad ass Ernie Ball Customs as well.
This was when he was playing in Beautiful Creatures.
But yeah....he was very cool to me all the time and never acted like a douche.

You name it ......I owned it!!(guitar wise)
Go really into the crazy graphic Charvels and Kramers....
then it was Gibson Les Pauls...explorers....
then it was "rock star owned" guitars (met a TON of cool 'rock stars' from the 80's)
Had over 400 electrics thru the years. Wasnt even playing...just HOARDING!
Now down to 3 guitars and 1 amp.

Oh well.....it was a fun ride.
