Does a list of “what it takes to get banned on R/T” exist?

I dig everything Floyd mentioned, including The Beatles, and I'm a huge EVH and Hair Metal fan. I also like Thrash, Nu Metal, Alt, Metalcore and some Death. And some Country. And some Girl bands. And some Punk. And a little band called 311.

Yeah same really. I fucking hated it in the actual 80s now I don't hate it, but man, I could go a long time without hearing any of it. I slag Bon Jovi alot, but Dead Or Alive and Blaze of Glory are both cool songs.

I was in SoCal when they were getting really big and KNAC fucking just burned me the fuck out on them.

You should catch a Hank III show brother. Fucking killer. And almost always in some little shitfuck bar. I think I saw him at some bar in The Grove of all places.

Nah dude. Most weren't that cool. I will say this. A junkie I knew called String went to high school with Vince Neil and he always told me he was a fucking pussy. And it's definitely true. That's all I'm gonna say about that. Tommy was a cool dude even after they got big. I saw Nikki here or there but never talked to him. I assume he was preoccupied with heroin. :dunno:

oh vince is absolutely a pussy, i've never met him and i know no one who knows him but i just look at his face...and i know...that dude would be the first one to throw the women and children over the boat if it meant he got to have a donut all for himself lol

For the most part IMHO the riff and melody writing is more-mature / more-musical than straight-up metal, power metal and neoclassical metal coming in close seconds maybe.

Then again, what do I know?

I don't listen to VH much but when I do I always enjoy it.

Eddie's got great feel and musicality to go with those chops.

Alex's riddums are spongey-enough to help the music breathe and the arrangements are for the most part very-good.

Honestly, I don't understand how any hard-rock lover wouldn't appreciate VH.

Saw him with Reverend Horton Heat, Scott Biram, and Voodoo Glow Skulls at the old theatre downtown.
Fun show.
