Does it matter where it's made?

You're supposed to tell me my new purple ltd viper is 1/2" thick quilt, lol
It's hard to say for the latest models without one in hand as they don't specifically advertise and they often paint/shield their cavities, but I know they at least have been putting stainless frets on all 1000 models for a few years now, so there's that. If you can find pics of a natural one without an edgeburst I would probably look at that bottom strap button location where it's not contoured for a clue. You could also contact them directly and tell them you want to do business and live in Japan or Spain and pretty sure they would have to tell you.

My old (2020, iirc) M1008MS was WMI built and had a pretty thick maple top for a strat shape (didn't specifically measure it, but about as thick the the fingerboard). This video by Trogly isn't very helpful It shows a 2022 model that was made at the Indonesian PT Wildwood factory, which is also where that Legator in the first pick was made with a 1/4"-ish(6.5mm) maple top. Worst case see below and recap it :ROFLMAO:Happy Thanksgiving, btw.

That first guitar is holyhell awesome.

All of them are killer.

It reminds me of one of the sets I sent to MadAsAHatter. I'm excited to see what he ends up doing with them.

What’s the DC with the floyd? Fuckin thing rules

It's a 3000 series Agile with a 3/4" cap, Seymour Duncans and a Gotoh 1996. I specifically didn't use stock photos in those to show real world samples. That one I took from MF/GC website. Think it was around $500. Was still up for sale yesterday. I didn't take you for Mr. Fancypants, Dev :ROFLMAO:❤️

thinking about it now, my answer if someone asked me where any of my imports were made would have to be "in a factory", i never really gave a shit to look and if i did i already forgot :dunno: im sitting here now looking at my bc rich mockingbird pro that i picked up today after not playing it for a while, forgot what a great guitar it is, im kinda curious now to look where it was made but im not because it will change the tone if i know

Happy Thanksgiving. I'll keep you posted on what I manage to figure out, if anything. The bones on them, 3 piece neck, ebony board, tonepros bridge, etc check enough boxes for me to take a closer look. Plus it's purprle.
