For those of you who say looks don't matter ...

Even IF this was the best amp in the world, none of you would buy it and you know it BECAUSE of the cosmetics.

Just saying.

Really cause I want to buy that amp no matter what it sounds like

I cant stand amp heads that have the upside down chassis. Blah. Other than that I dont care what it looks like.

I don't really give a shit what an amp looks like. Just how it's built, the sound, and useable (to me at least) features.
Sums me up as well...
I would plug into an old beer box if it ripped it up tone wise.

As long as it's not really ugly...

I mean, I couldn't bring myself to buy a Tyler guitar, no matter how good they are.

There is so much cool looking gear out there, so....

Yeah....amps dont matter....but guitars?
Cant handle ugly ones. But I am sure the ones I like are ugly to someone else....so it makes the world go round.

Fortunately so

Come to think of it, I don't think I have seen an amp that I wouldn't buy because of how it looked.

But guitar shopping... I simply don't play any that I don't like the look of.

I actually asked a reputable European luthier to build me a guitar, but change the headstock because I didn't like it. He declined (which I can respect)...

I love EBMM guitars. That said, the over the top gay, pink and purple fade Steve Morse version is too much...

Do y'all also judge books by their covers?
A Roland Cube could be put into a very attractive chassis and head box but it would still sound like shit.
You could tale a Mark IIC+ out of it's head shell, spray paint it pink and it would still sound amazing.
I only buy leather bound books from the late 1500's or tolex bound books. the rest I read on my iPad

I bought a EBMM EVH guitar Brand new back in the day....sorta was looking for a Les Paul....saw the Eddie style...
grabbed it. PLayed like a champ. Just thought it was a FUGLY bastard though.

I like those carpeted amps. Fuck tolex, who needs it?..

Hah. A Scooby amp would be hilarious. A guy on another forum I frequent builds 18 watters into Jack Daniels tins.
