For sure. I have 2 Hermanssons also. I’m going to reach out to some of them here shortly. I just want to make sure this Marshall doesn’t blow. But I think the issue is there may some mods internally that sound bad. Despite the tech saying it’s stock on the circuit.

Also I see the output transformer has a small dent in the corner. Which I know nothing about if that could affect tone

That dent shouldn't make much of a difference. There may be some filtering changes that someone made; those really affect the feel and change the perceived thump the amp has. Whoever you send it to hopefully can diagnose any changes that might have been made. When I got my 72 50w, many of the caps were changed to orange drops. I changed them back to the period correct Phillips chiclets like my other 72 and the amp sounds MUCH better now. Before, it sounded more like a Fender and had to be dimed to crunch. Now it gets 2204 levels of gain on 4.
