Run a Fortin Grind pedal in front of a 50w DSL. I think you'll really dig that tone, Reza. Very heavy, but cuts through well with that unique Fortin EQ.
Yes, I agree. DSL would work, but knowing your style, I think it may come up short. Since then I've had Splawns, Jubilees, JVMs, Peaveys, Jet Citys, JCM800's, Ceriatones, all come and go. And while I really liked some of those amps, none were good enough to replace the old DSL for straight up Marshall tones. With a good OD it gives more gain and versatility than I'd ever need. It's one amp I will never sell, along with my old Randall Century.
That being said, I'm still gassing to try a Friedman small box to see if it will live up to the hype.
