Damn, I came in here expecting to see a broken neck of some kind.

I never followed-up on it but it seems I heard a clip of him singing on Howard Stern and it was a game of "who is this singing" and it was actually pretty good...Not sure about his chops though

I would be leery of that seller. He said Steven Seagal is an actor and a musician. It is well documented that he is neither. Sorry, I wouldn't do biz with someone that was lying right out of the gate.
 
You guys are acting like he is selling a squier. Even with the fret job they still go for significant money. The refret is an issue only to a potential buyer. Would he rather have a stock unplayable guitar, or another one that is amazing. It is pretty common. That said, there are plenty of people,outside of this forum who actually like SS, so maybe they will get close, even if it doesnt sell on ebay. Dont forget those stupid tribute Fenders like the EVH blow out at 25k. This is a real vintage collectible, regardless of his attachment.
 
I posted this in fun. Nothing against SS. I personally don't care for his acting, but that's my opinion. I know a thing or two about vintage strats I think? I had an all original 62 in great condition that I sold for $20,000 about 10 years ago. No way is that guitar worth that money IMO, and I certainly don't think even mentioning that it was owned by SS is helping the cause.
