E2 time yet?

Thanks! I hate the thought of having one more thing to lug around but it will really add to versatility. I use a large pedalboard so this will be my first rack item. I guess I'll just sit it next to the amp.

If these are Asian made like the TourMasters, I hope at least the modules will be made here in Bruce's shop.
I think this stuff is for us.And not GC :D You know us modular folks

Any chance these are ready yet? Guitar Center? Price? :D :D :D

I think these will be more later summer, post Renegade, etc. launch.

I know they won't be available through Guitar Center. Jeff has said before Guitar Center doesn't have rights as a dealer to the modular line. Folks like Indoor Storm, Tone Merchants, Frank @ the Amp Lounge will be your dealers for the E2.

You speak the truth. Let's be honest. We unfortunately know which side of the bread is buttered. The velocity of GC just pales in comparison to even the velocity of E2. Once the stuff is done with Renegade and Rebel. We will be doing release of E2 and other things! Sorry guys it is just a huge commitment of time of design on Bruce. But rest assured what is coming is gonna be flat out AWESOME!

I really think that it would be great if Egnater chose to sell the E2 & M4 unloaded so if you already have an M4 and a whole load of modules you could add another or have a second rig
or if you have a Mod50/100 plus modules you could add versatility to your rig.

It would also mean that more people would try the Egnater modular stuff

Sure - some may buy it to use with some Randall modules, but as the M4 has the benefit of allowing dual modules to be used they will want to buy Egnater modules soon enough
Some players may mix and match Egnater and Randall or even modified modules but the ability to use dual modules makes you want them to be Egnater modules

There is quite a lot of interest in some of the Modified modules which I feel it just adds more interest to the modular range and that can only be god for Egnater

I know it's a tough decision, and it has to make sense financially, but I think it would lead to more Egnater players in the long run.

We will be selling E2 empty after the first couple runs. We need to break even and this is why we will only sell them to dealers loaded. This may not be the case with our dealers it is their choice to sell it retail loaded or unloaded!

I hear ya Jeff, no need to rush. I would rather know that you guys have to take the time to research, engineer and develope in smaller quantities with better quality than throwing out a bunch of stuff as fast as possible.

I will definitely be looking to get an empty unit. :D I have modules just sitting around. :aww:

You would a switcher (like a Axess Electronics GX4, a GCX, or a RJM16)...a M4, and your Mod50.

Guitar -> Guitar in of the switcher
Loop one Send -> Mod50 guitar in
Mod50 Serial EFX Loop Send -> Loop one Return
Loop two Send -> M4 input
M4 Output -> Loop two return
Swictcher output -> Mod50 Serial EFX Loop Return

The switcher would switch between the Mod50 / M4's preamp basically giving you 6 modules, and 12 channels :)
