Wow and here I thought I was being...

To be more specific an Orange with a dash of Roccaforte Hi-gain, Rivera K100, and Egnater ??? FTMFW! I'll pay top dollar.

I need to try a different orange.

I tried an HT30 or whatever it's called.

I thought it sounded like piss. :aww:

It was unfrgiving, yet scooped, muddy, fuzzy, sterile, and stiff all at the same time. One of the worst amps I've ever played. no joke.

I will admit that the Orange tone is an acquired taste. Much like the Sunn Model T. I happen to love both. Now hands down the best IMO is the OR50. That thing kills. I like the Rockerverb 50 as well. Did you try one with 6550's? I think you would like the Thunderverb 200. Maybe you tried an AD30? I'm not a fan of what I've heard from it. EL84 power section class A. Whole different ballgame.

Yep, that's it.

AD30.

It was a f-ing POS. It wasn't the power section that sucked. It was the muddy, stiff, fuzzy, crappy preamp section that turned me off.
