I had the EG3/4 cranked through my TM212 today and had the bass at noon with the bass boost on zero. I find the boosts can sound artificial so I tend to keep em off....unless playing at bedroom levels.

You have to remember that the scumbacks don't have as much low end as a K100, CL80, etc. Secondly, I use the Density knob VERY sparingly. I find it MUCH tighter to use the BB or crank the bass up. The EG34X is soo tight on the low end, it never gets flubby, tubby, wuffy on BB 1 and bass all the way up. It gets wuffier if I crank the Density knob. Yeah I do like bass...but it's very balanced in it's tone. The way it sounds on my vid is very similar to how it sounds live. The bass isn't overbearing at all.
