Holy hell. This is an amazing cabinet now. Never liked the V30s in there. Tried the T75 / CL80 combo...and albeit cool, just wasn't great in that cabinet either. Got a quad of 65W Scumback M75s in 16 Ohm...loaded them...and man...how killer it is... So warm...yet great warm sweet, semi-chimey top end. Add to that great killer mid-range with plenty of punch on the low end for sure!!!

Tried doing a stereo rig w/ the K100 / CL80 combo...and it was really cool. Sounded best when I just used the K100 w/ the M75s. I see another Scumback M75 order to replace the CL80s in my TM212s. I was friggin impressed how well the K100 sounded next to the M75. It's a bit brighter, a bit more low end...but had great mid-range too though. Definitely can stand up next to the M75 for sure. I'm definitely contemplating grabbing 2 more M75s.

I've owned a ton of Scumbacks...M55s, H55s, H75s, M75-LHDC, etc. This is THE Scumback to get FOR SURE! I've also owned the Blue Dogs, Silver Bells from Weber...and this is the best Weber Speaker I've played to date. Dave Friedman and Peter Thorn are right. This is one DAMN NICE speaker!!!

Hi Eric....I'm a big Scumback user/fan....have been for years........If you want sometime, try a mix of M55's and H75's....The M is Jim's best sounding greenback in new form...It distorts quicker than the H...has sweeter and more mids...bass is tighter than a real Greenback...get the 100 watter....sounds like the 30 watters except the lows are better....breaks up the same......the combination is deadly......
Have you tried the Lynch Super V speaker?? I just ordered 2 from Randall....

I definitely like the M75s a LOT! I'm gonna get 2 M75 100watters to go w/ my Celestion K100s in my Tourmaster 2x12 cabinets. I really dug the way they sounded together. I definitely like the M75s better than greenbacks. But I'm a fan of tighter more defined bass vs the flubby bass that the normal Greenbacks have IMHO.

I wasn't that big of a fan of the H75 or H55s. The M75-LHDC was too dark for me though. Didn't have the high end of the M75s that is killer.

The way the speaker breaks up...sounds awesome. Nothing like a V30 breaks up. I don't like speaker breakup typically that much, but I really dig the M75 at higher volumes as well as lower volumes. I got the 65-watters in my 4x12. Want the 100watters in my 2x12 to match the K100's being 100 watt.

That cab was awesome out in LA. The Egnater 4x12 sounds equally as good too with the Scumback M75s. Jim definitely has something killer going on with those speakers and cabs!!

You're about to cost me some money man .... STOP IT! (LA LA LA LA)

Now, which Scumbacks do think I would like???

Eric, did you run the M's with a CL80 by chance? Just wondering how they would play together.

I just got my M75 for my 112. Probably get it installed tomorrow.

Let me know how it works out. I am on the hunt myself. I might cheap out and pick up some Warehouse ET65's instead.

Yo man, I'll make you a good deal on my 16 ohm ET65 if you are coming in town soon.

I am here now! Make me that deal and I can pick it up Sunday night on my way back through town. 8 ohm would be better but I can make yours work if I like it.

I will pm you my cell number and email address. I am not sure how much internet access I will have tomorrow.

For you man.. The M75s would be awesome for sure. As well as the H55s. The M75s can do A LOT of stuff very well. Best sounding greenback I've ever played. I totally think you'd love them man.

I did try each side of my TM212 (one K100 and one CL80)...and the CL80s mixed pretty well with it. It still bumps up the mid-to upper mids a bit more than I liked w/ the M75 vs the K100.

I think the K100 / CL80 combo or K100 / M75 is the SHIT! :)

I would imagine a M75 / V30 combo would be amazing too. For those that like V30s ;) But..damn..the M75 65-watters..(same as John C. and Peter Thorn have used on their recent clips) are just downright amazing

So, are most of their speakers based on Green Backs? Scumbacks always keep me confused. The H hasa little more "fat" to it?

probably for you I'd do a h75 and a m75 in your 2x12 cab. Or just two m75s. The m75s are great man. Amazing speakers. Great for a lot of styles. Your wallet and mine will be a bit lighter ;)

Well, the M series are Greenbacks...The H series are G12H30 type speakers...larger magnet, different sound...

Go check Jim's website. He has a bunch of sound clips on there and good descriptions of the speakers.

The M75 in my 112 really rocks man! Diggin' it so far.

Yeah man.. I love the 4x12 Egnater Tourmaster w/ M75s. It does EVERYTHING very well. From DLX to BMAN to EG3/4 to EG5.. It handles them all VERY well.

Definitely interested in trying a K100 / M75 combo for sure. If it doesn't work out. I'll just do a K100 cabinet and a M75 2x12 cabinet. All in all...the M75s definitely live up to they hype. The f-in rock! :)

Dang man, just up playin' the Scummy in the 112 and it just kicks it! Had the strat and the COD and SL2X and getting some great tones.

Can't imagine 4 of those bad boys in a cab!!

Great speaker so far. Gotta rock it out some more.......try the EG5 and deluxe next, plus getting the xman back from Nick soon.

Thanks. I've never actually used greenbacks. I've heard them plenty and played through a few cabs in stores. My favorite speakers are the Eminence GB12, so I would be looking along those lines. M75

You'd totally dig em man. The M75 and H75...that'd be the combo I'd recommend.
