I did mine in May. You can change the sound quite a bit. I think changing things in this amp and hearing the differences have helped me decide what I like in an amp, thus helping end my constant amp gas - and that's why I took the class, so my mission was successful!

When did you build your amp?
I am curious if changing the caps and resistors has a noticeable effect or just subtle.
I've been a little bit timid on diving in with my soldering iron - hate to ruin the nice tethering Bruce did to the amp.
