Finally got all the amps in today and the Palmer PDI-03 I honestly have not even tried playing through them yet, gonna fire up the Elmwood right now , moving everything around made me tired as hell . Full review and clips to come later, maybe after tax season and if I can get the palmer to sound decent I will try to post some clips earlier, I left work early to just check it out and will probably have to go back into the office in about an hour Took some pics while I was at it Well here it is, my small corner of the world..Here's some amp porn .. gonna piss off my neighbors for the next hour or so before I head back to work

Haha yeah, been working so damn much I just had to splurge, the Mark IV and the VM has to go though so I can pay off the Elmwood when it comes due in May

Thanks! I am really impressed with both amps, especially the elmwood, those two knobs at the back make a very big difference, this thing has a lot of of low end. Whats awesome is both of these amps have really nice MV's and sound really nice at bedroom levels, but it slays at higher volume.

yep, it's not a boom boom kind of low end, but my God if you turned up the fat on the back and up front it would be an insane amount of bass. i just barely turn up the fat on the back for old school and then not much more for modern stuff, and that's with bass about 10:00 or 11:00 on the front?

Yeah thats how I have it right now, fat set just a little and the bass around 10:00 , it adds just the right amount of bass without making it muddy, it makes the tone sound so meaty and thick! I wish the Fat and Edge controls were on the front panel though And the leads on this amp are freaken sweet!

What cab are you running the Elmwood through? I have tried it only through the Splawn cab so far, will probably test it out with the Mesa 2x12 tomorrow.

the Elmwood has got along with every speaker/cab combo i've tried it with.

can't really pick a favorite speaker or cab for it, it really gets along with stuff so good it's hard to pick. it does really well with Eminence, so Governors are nice. it gets along great with Splawn's Gov/MOW mix, which can be pretty amp finicky.

mostly i've been running with RI Greenbacks and with either a Bogner V30 or a cab loaded with the Warehouse Green Berets on bottom. got it set a little tamer, and farting around with old school stuff.

I am totally digging the M90! I haven't really touched the Mak2 that much because of the M90 but the Mak2 is really nice too, the freak knob is a really cool feature on the Mak2 But both amps are awesome so far. Wish I had more time with both of them but I gotta work all weekend, in the office right now as I type this

Run 'em both in stereo.
Set one for a Dark Crunch (Probably M90)
and one for a Bright Crisp Bite.
Then let the Madness begin!!!
