Thanks for checking it out! :) I haven't heard much by MLF, I remember when he first released his debut album!

Cheers,

hey Angus!

What cab/speakers did you use on that? Sounds real chewy and yet still plenty tight enough!!

Man that sounds great...too bad that amp is way out of my price range.

Can you post your recording chain? Mic/interface/software/eq if you don't mind? thanks

-Joe

Thanks Joe :D

Chain was:

Ernie Ball Axis -> Elmwood M60 -> Bogner 4x12 w/G12H30's -> CAD Trion 7000 -> MBox -> Pro Tools LE.

There was no post recording EQ, I just used a bit of 'verb and delay from PTLE and a plug in to make it louder! That's it really.

It was a Bogner 4x12 loaded with G12H30 anniversaries. I'm very curious about the heritage version though

Sounds great!

How loud was it during recording?

Thanks!

Hmm, the master volume is at 8 o'clock - which is loud TV volume I guess. No where anywhere near cranked!

I actually was thinking of trying the Heritage speakers but theyre expensive! Those G12H30s sound great with the Elmwood, i wouldnt change a thing in that rig if it was mine!

Im using Greenback reissues at the moment in a Marshall 4x12, they sound good but id like to try other speakers to see if theres any id be better suited to.

Killer!!!

Thanks man! :) You tried the M90 yet?
Nope, not yet. I will eventually. I had the M60 and the 3100. Both great amps. I know I would like the 90.....probably more than the others.

elmwood is starting to come on strong in the clip department!!!!

plus sniderman gave it big thumbs up, so it's gold!

Killer....very much in the vein of the Brian Kahanek clips awhile back. In fact, I would've thought it was BK playing if your location said Hollywood.

Nice.

Godamn, that sounds amazing!! Wish I had cash to drop on an M90...

Nice! Good tone indeed...Where was the mic positioned in relation to the dust cap??

Yeah, you're so right about leaving stuff alone! I just can't can't help it , Ampoholics Anonymous?

"Hi, my names Angus. It's been 3 weeks since I last bought an amp."

Try one if you get the opportunity  I'm passed the honeymoon period and still think it's awesome.
