You guys have one? Rarely see them come up used. Can they pull off the signiture Engl tone?

Never heard one but read about them.
I think they don't pull off the modern ENGL tones but the earlier era ENGL tones like the E 520 pre- a bit more Marhall , like a cross between the modern Engl and a Marshall, but the toner had nice cleans also, I'd like one better than modern Engl as I would like the E520, but I'm not a metal guy.
You could read some reviews of the tube toner at HC, sort of a warmer E 530.
