So in that other massive shit talking thread @Jimty wrote these lyrics for a spoof that had me laughing all night. He said it was cool if I recorded it. ...So, I put in the work to set the reamp up hoping I could pull off the vocals, but alas, I still can't sing worth a fuck in E Std. I decided to keep going with it to sort out a tone comparo of the original TBA tone compared to what I could do in my simple room with my IIB+ IIC++ and III+. Why not..? TBH I'm kind of liking where it's headed with my amps a little.. more... than the album tone which seems to be less scooped than where I landed. Since everyone has an opinion I wanted to share for feedback before I turn it into a YT vid. What do you think? Better / worse / what should change?
Edit - hold up - Soundcloud deleted the tracks for copyright. Have to think of a plan B.
Plan B- I have them parked in this OneDrive folder.
Signal chain -> EMG 81 -> ISP Decimator II -> Amp -> Recto Trad Str8 V30 2002 V30 cab -> E609 -> double tracked -> A touch of room reverb in post.
Next, if anyone thinks they can pull off his lyrics tracked along with the album, I'd be cool with dropping your stem into my reamp and see where it goes..? Could be fun! Or, at the least a reason to talk more shit! To be clear I really do like the Reissue, and I want to support it, and I also think a parody of the launch bumble is hella funny.
