Let it slide right in…
once I built that thing .... I was surprised at the lower gain tones on it ..... it's actually pretty versatile on top of being the swedish chainsaw when set to do so ...Well it’s true…. You can cop a pretty cool Gilmour sound from a chainsaw…never would’ve believed it if I had not just done it. Looked up a few settings and yup…I was turning away from the delicate sound of thunder while learning to fly…
doesn't sound crazy at all .... that's all I have been doing is experimenting with stacking OD's .... I purposely try combo's that I wouldn't expect to work together .... sometimes the results are utter shit ... sometimes thy make you go " WTF "It’s interesting when you boost it with the screamer as well. I know…sounds fucking crazy…boost an hm-2 with a tube screamer… it works…
that circuit has a bit of everything going on ...... it's got Fet's , germanium diodes , silicon diodes .... 3 op amps ....Yeah I was hitting it on the lower gain Pink Floyd settings… really worked. Also interesting how the hm-2 almost has a fuzz quality to it under certain settings. Not a one trick pony that it gets labeled as.
yeah ..... it's not that simple of a circuit ... like say a SD-1 or ScreamerReally? Damn…
