EV SRO 12L vs. EVM 12L??

Almost all speakers can handle twice what they are rated. They just do not live near as long. That rating is based on RMS from the amp. I would be fine with using it myself. But I would rather have other stuff with that amp.
 
I believe the SROs were rated at 150w RMS and the EVMs are 200w RMS.
Either way, in a 2x12, there's just about no possible way that you'll blow either type of speaker with an amp putting 200w RMS clean.

Even if you can get an extra 50% out of it, you're still safe...but you'll have to push that amp RIDICULOUSLY hard to get 300w.
