Do I get to play?
As far as delays go...nothing touches a 2290 IMO. The ducking is something I can do without, if I have to duck my delay I use way too much wet signal.
As far as Lexicon goes...there old PCM 41 and PCM 42 are my fav delays after the 2290.
As far as Eventide goes...that's what you get for harmonizer/pitch shift stuff.

Spot on although the delays on the PCM 70 and PCM 80 are not as good as the delays on the G-Force IMO.

The 41 and 42 are classics ! Very good delays on those

I'm not trying to push you. I'm not trying to be a dick.

I got my 2290 for $999.
I use a fireworx and an 1128 EQ.

actually, I use TC exclusively and probably won't buy an Axe FX.

So, yeah. We can be TC brothers :emofag: :grim:
Sorry, it just came across wrong I guess! TC brothers forever....
With that said, what do you think of your 2290? I've honesty never tried one so my opinion was based off of internet surfing and recordings I have heard...might have been bad judgement on my part...
I'm not sure if it's worth $2k like I've seen lately, but.....

Let's just say the Fireworx(which is badass) can't touch the 2290, delay-wise.

Think of the best recordings you've heard of The solo sound of Andy Timmons or Steve Stevens.

That's kinda what a 2290 does to the sound.

I LOVE IT.

Andy Timmons.... :worship: ahhhhh, love it...Thanks for the input bro. Maybe I'll be looking into a 2290 one of these days now.

I have spent a fair amount of time with the TC stuff and like it. Some time with the Eventide - harmonizer is not something I need much. I have owned a few Lexicons - also cool. I guess I need to think about what I need and pick a TC. :) Thanx guys

You can't go wrong with TC my friend. Everything I've heard is just top notch. Haven't messed with a G-Major though. I've heard the G-Major sucks tone, but don't know from experience. Just something to think about!
