that hum is crazy, i have one light in my old ass house that if i leave on i get that, i guess i wont overly worry anymore. i think i hear something in that clip but i cant tell if its a piano

Hahaha seriously, the amount of string noise or various “imperfections” I used to try to avoid when tracking, then when I heard that I just said “Fuck it, full takes from now on” and haven’t looked back.

There’s no piano in the track, the best I can assume is the arppegiated acoustic part is blending with the ride cymbal and creating some overtones that sounds like a piano playing a differently melody.
