Yeah, that might work out well. I wonder also if I mess around with the value of the cap ... go up or down in capacitance value to see how it shapes the tone, that might be interesting too. Over all I think it's going to be a cool amp.

So I was thinking based on the convo so far that this was similar to my Recto switch for 6L6 vs EL34s - where it adjusts the bias? I know nothing about the layout of this amp nor am I an EE but C137 doesn't look like it would be in a conducive spot for a switch let alone a pot.

Go to the :55 ish mark here. Not sure what this guy did exactly - it looks like he removed C137 altogether. Kinda hard to tell.

That is one jacked up video.... we have to guess what values he installed :confused: .... hmm let's see, I'll put in a couple of 1 meg ohm resistors or maybe zero ohm jumpers .... let me flip a coin and call it good. :dunno:
