That sounds fine, alone, but it would not cut in a live mix.

It’s not honky. It’s more like a slice.speakers also play a role in the tone, the Iconic def sounds like a 5150 but i don't hear any honky mids as I hate that
I was a guitar tech for four years for a National act on tour, and helped with sound quite a bit. I saw hundreds of bands live, the sound guy isn’t letting that go FOH, he’s low cutting that at 120hz to audience. You’re wrong
I can respect your opinion but keep in mind what you’re hearing is a cell phone recording. And look at the placement of the phone. Of course you’re going to pick up a lot of low end at that angle. All I’m saying is I own the amp and have no issue with it cutting in a live situation.I was a guitar tech for four years for a National act on tour, and helped with sound quite a bit. mine arrived with every single chassis screws super loose - all 6 needed to be tightened down
They're MICAre these MIM or MIC or what?
Yeah, Black Dahlia Murder disagrees with you. That sounds fine, alone, but it would not cut in a live mix.
Awesome thanks!Hey, I saw this video recommended on my YT. Good stuff, @WizardSouth-JP
Dialing in an amp for live mix and playing in the house are totally different. Recording the amp live or in studio (buddy tours in a major band and is using one in the studio - he’s got loads of amps at his disposal) the iconic is just fine. That sounds fine, alone, but it would not cut in a live mix.
Hey, I'm never gonna get to try this as a hand me down if people keep complimenting him.Hey, I saw this video recommended on my YT. Good stuff, @WizardSouth-JP

master works great, can easily play and sound good at bedroom or conversation volumesI’m contemplating buying the Iconic EL34 this X-mas. How does it sound at bedroom volume? Is manageable?
touché bitchesJust wait him out… I’ve done it a few times. Doesn’t usually take that long
