EVH Phase 90 settings on VH1?

I have never had FX boxes and still don't but if I can get "something close" with my FX unit, I will buy a Phase 90, does anyone know roughly where Eddie set his at? (Speed, wavelength etc etc)

Get the MXR EVH Phase 90 and set it to around 9 or 10 o'clock with the script button pressed in. That should get you pretty close.

+1, I always put phase in front of the amp.

Don't know why this was brought back from the dead but...

The MXR CSP-101CL Custom Shop Script Phase 90 is the same thing as the EVH and 30$ less
You just have to open it up to access the "script" switch

Keith posted a thread yesterday .... I did not notice it was year old either. I was not the one that bumped it.

It's probably my favorite pedal on the board... Just like everybody else mentioned. "Script" button engaged + "Rate" knob set to 9 'o clock = Instant VH1.... I even asked the folks at Dunlop/MXR and that was the exact instructions they gave me.... I didn't ask so much on the proper settings, I had just emailed them telling them how much I loved the pedal and they actually replied telling me Eddie sets it at 9 w/ "Script" mode engaged... Great pedals and great people. LOVE MXR/Dunlop stuff!!
