Iirc Randall loves Michael Schenker so that might be a tell.
Great amps!
All things considered I’m better than I’d expect. I’m recovering from accidentally putting my girlfriends apartment on fire.Hey, Ed! How are you doing these days? Been a long time!
And yes, Michael Schenker is indeed my all-time favorite guitarist.
Knowing now is a little late. Sounds like I may have wanted one. Hope your parents are doing well.Hey, Ed! How are you doing these days? Been a long time!

Ended up in the ICU with hydrogen cyanide smoke poisoning.
Guess guitar finishes and synthetics/plastic are not meant to be burned and inhaled. ?
But it also reset my priorities.
Thankful to be around and able to start working again.

How about yourself?
It’s been a minute I’ve seen you but one does not forget the guys that love Schenker. ?
It seems Schenker is back to great form.Wow, Ed, that sounds terrible! I'm glad to hear you are recovering. Hopefully, you'll get back to some semblance of normal soon.
I'm doing fine, hoping to get back to building amps sometime in the near future, as my military avionics contract design work seems to finally be slowing down a bit. I'm slowly working on finishing out a new shop, hopefully there will still be a market for tube amps when I get it going again.
I finally got to see Michael Schenker for the first time in my life a few years ago on one of his Michael Schenker Fest tour stops in Atlanta. I really wanted to get the meet and greet tickets, but I was sick with a very high fever and figured I better not get anywhere near him. That didn't stop me from driving the six hour round trip down there to see the show, though, and it was well worth it. Hopefully, I'll get to meet him someday to thank him for all the great music and the impact he had on my life.
Where 'bouts are you?I'm an hour and a half away. I would help an OG RT'er out if necessary.![]()
You're closer than me, I'm just north of Albany.Where 'bouts are you?

Very sorry to hear what happened Ed, that sounds awful. Glad to hear you are recovering. I've been admiring your playing since the HC days. All things considered I’m better than I’d expect. I’m recovering from accidentally putting my girlfriends apartment on fire.

Yup, as they assumed it was the power strip next to the bed.Very sorry to hear what happened Ed, that sounds awful. Glad to hear you are recovering. I've been admiring your playing since the HC days.
Did they ever find out what started it? Lately I've been trying to gather up and dispose of all the old lithium batteries that I've had laying around for years. I was heavily into vaping at one point, and had a ton of the stupid things. I'm finding them in old boxes, drawers, devices, etc., and stories like this make me super paranoid.![]()
