Just a bit different here, usually SF is $1-1.2k and TRRI are $500-700. There was a time where it would have been hard to get $500 for a SF as they're kinda shunned by the local scene. Not sure why other than "it's not a BF"

Perhaps your SF estimates are a little more accurate as a whole but I have def seen guys asking 200-300 less on occasion especially for the mid 70's Twins with the offset speakers and glued in chipboard baffle (yuck). There are just so many of them around here.

Someone had a '68 drip edge recently listed for a grand that I was bugging Smash to buy. If the guy wouldn't take 800 cash I know I'm dealing with a moron cause the next serious buyer is probably six months or a year away if he balks at the offer, lol. I paid 1200 at a shop in 2015 for the '69 and they are still 1200 for a '69 even after all the money printing. What's that tell you about Twin Reverb popularity? :LOL:
 
If I'm thinking about all the amps I've bought for less than $1000, that's a pretty long list, since I've only ever paid over $1000 US for one amp.

I'd have to say my Uberschall Rev Blue and my Rivera Knucklehead II. I paid $1400 CAD ($982 USD) for the Uber and $730 CAD ($512 USD) for the Rivera.

If we're talking specifically about amps that one finds regularly for under $1000, then I'm pretty fond of the Peavey Ultra Plus, 5150, and the OG Butcher.

Are the Mesa Fillmore models the same thing as the ones that are model branded just "F"? Like F50?
Have no experience/knowledge really of Mesa.
So, just asking because the Fillmore seems to be recommended a lot.

Oddly enough, they do sort of a similar thing, but it's not the same amp series.

Cool circuit though, packs a lot of versatility in a simple package.
 
If I had to go on a world tour right now, and my amp budget was 1k, I'd take a JCM2000 DSL50/100, Mesa Stiletto (they can be had for 1k or less), Peavey VTM, or Budda Superdrive (probably stuck to an 18 or 30, maaaaybe find a 45 for 1k or less).
