I see guys trying to get 750-850 for the TRRI's around here with SF's running from 750-1200. I have definitely dumped some dough into BF'ing and recapping both of mine completely though I did a few hundred gigs between the both of them before I sunk a ton of cash. The 67-69 seem to command about $1200 "cause it's a sixties twin, man", that's what I paid for mine but I got a 72 in a mojotone cab for $500 in '18. I saved all my $1 bills from gig tips that year and had like $700 worth in rolls of 50 and bought an amp, lol.
Perhaps your SF estimates are a little more accurate as a whole but I have def seen guys asking 200-300 less on occasion especially for the mid 70's Twins with the offset speakers and glued in chipboard baffle (yuck). There are just so many of them around here.Just a bit different here, usually SF is $1-1.2k and TRRI are $500-700. There was a time where it would have been hard to get $500 for a SF as they're kinda shunned by the local scene. Not sure why other than "it's not a BF"
Peavey 5150 2x12 combo
Mesa Fillmore 25 combo
Fender Deluxe Reverb
Orange OR15
Peavey Delta Blues 1x15
All picked up since 2020 for under $1k, can still be had for around that, and I've had a blast playing each of them.
Oddly enough, they do sort of a similar thing, but it's not the same amp series. Are the Mesa Fillmore models the same thing as the ones that are model branded just "F"? Like F50?
Have no experience/knowledge really of Mesa.
So, just asking because the Fillmore seems to be recommended a lot.
Brother, I've had an MKE120 in need of some work FOREVER. Sweet amps.I love my Redbear MK120.
