Favorite OD pedal with 20th Shiva.

Man, the BB Preamp pedal just kills it through my Shiva. Match made in heaven. :)
 
My J&J OD sounds amazing with the 20th Shiva, and I have to say that my Way Huge pedals kill with the Shiva. The Shiva has a ton of low end, so I tend to like pedals that dial back some of the lows when soloing. The built in boost is amazing and does what anyone could ever want for a liquid, hot lead, but you have to be carefull since the 20th Shiva has more gain and saturation than one could ever need, so I tend to keep my gain at 1:00 or lower, always. :)

late to the party here. The Koko boost is a great pedal. real transparent if you like, or you can fiddle with the mids a bit if you like. It would probably go great with the shiva. I didnt have a shiva and a koko at the same time but have had both and think they would be a great match. Ralph has my old Koko boost now...

I did just get a Bogner Wessex and it works great to nudge the Helios and my 2203 over the top at lower volumes . It is a really cool pedal for sure. I am surprised to hear you have a Shiva, I didn't not think you were much into the Bogner stuff. I always have dug em as you prob know.

Hey buddy...

What did you end up with? My favorites have been xotic BB, Fargen J&J, Klon clones, Liquid Sunshine, but two pedals highly recommended by Nick (Rockstar) is the Xotic EP and the Bogner Wessex. I am getting an EP as it apparently is amazing anywhere in the chain. I want it as a solo boost in the loop with my amps. The Wessex is like a better sounding and performing BB.
 
I don't use a boost much but when I have chosen to I have found these to work well for sounds I like. Maxon OD820, Timmy, Exotic BB, Klon
