I’m building an arsenal at my house with all these pickups. Want to try some more PAFish pickups that are great under high gain. Specifically in an LP. By that I mean something under 10k :ROFLMAO: . Whatcha like?

SH-18 Whole Lotta' Humbucker

SH-16 59/Custom Hybrid (A bit outside the lane lines for PAF, but still PAF'ish)

I have had great luck with both of these winds, but they are a bit more dependent on the guitar, where a really hot pickup can sort of overpower the nuances of any guitar you put them in.

I like a Wolfetone Marshallhead (which is around 9.2k A5) in some of my Les Pauls (the ones that don't have WCR's installed anyways). Though depending on how much gain we are talking, you might need them lightly potted. Lollar Imperials were cool when I tried them as well.

The High Order Maximus is pretty cool. I have one in my burst LP. The LPC gets the Dirty Fingers clone but the burst gets the PAF clones.

Rewind Electric. I have a Low Wind A2 (bridge) and a Bloomfield A3 (neck) in one LP and a set of PAF-1 A4s in another. I prefer lower wind Humbuckers in my LPs for higher gain stuff as I don’t feel the need to drive amps that are already high gain (or being hit with a boost) via a hot pickup.

+1 on ReWind. I had a pair in an LP I stupidly traded a few years back and it was incredible.

I ordered a new pair in September, and they seem to be taking forever now. I guess the episode of Tone Talk he did a year or so back tripled his business and he's having trouble keeping up with the demand.

I hear you. LPC’s seem to do better with higher output pickups in my limited experience. The extra mids and slightly rolled off highs of a high output pickup balance out the brighter nature.

Not after anything specific just looking for ideas. Welcoming all ideas and opinions. I’ve heard some of these people play guitar so I know which opinions to ignore and it’s usually the people that think they’re qualified experts :ROFLMAO:
WCR (Wagner) Godwoods have been in my Goldtop longer than anything. I had Marshallheads in another Les Paul that I sold and I'd honestly have to flip a coin on those. Wolfes are maybe a little more aggressive.

Does he still make them? I’ve wanted to try them for a while
