I’m building an arsenal at my house with all these pickups. Want to try some more PAFish pickups that are great under high gain. Specifically in an LP. By that I mean something under 10k
. Whatcha like?

+1 on ReWind. I had a pair in an LP I stupidly traded a few years back and it was incredible.Rewind Electric. I have a Low Wind A2 (bridge) and a Bloomfield A3 (neck) in one LP and a set of PAF-1 A4s in another. I prefer lower wind Humbuckers in my LPs for higher gain stuff as I don’t feel the need to drive amps that are already high gain (or being hit with a boost) via a hot pickup.
Not after anything specific just looking for ideas. Welcoming all ideas and opinions. I’ve heard some of these people play guitar so I know which opinions to ignore and it’s usually the people that think they’re qualified expertsWhat do you currently have?
I hear you. LPC’s seem to do better with higher output pickups in my limited experience. The extra mids and slightly rolled off highs of a high output pickup balance out the brighter nature. The High Order Maximus is pretty cool. I have one in my burst LP. The LPC gets the Dirty Fingers clone but the burst gets the PAF clones.
WCR (Wagner) Godwoods have been in my Goldtop longer than anything. I had Marshallheads in another Les Paul that I sold and I'd honestly have to flip a coin on those. Wolfes are maybe a little more aggressive. Not after anything specific just looking for ideas. Welcoming all ideas and opinions.
