Is that the combo you’d recommend? And is that in a Les Paul or something else

I’ve tried the godwood in an LPC and an R9. Liked it but didn’t love it. Will try it in more guitars in the future - just wasn’t quite the right fit in the ones I tried.

I like the plain Jane Duncan '59 in the bridge a lot.

I like the DiMarzio 36th Anniversary in the neck.

I also like the DiMarzio PAF Pro in the bridge, but I'm not sure how PAF-like it really is considering it has an oversized magnet, double row of allen screws, and a brass baseplate.

Lollar Imperials.

You can order high/low wind to try and dial into the natural brightness/darkness of your guitar.

RiffRaff which is actually more a PAT than PAF, i like it for everything. Kind of bright, which i tend to like.
Pearly Gates maybe

SH-18 Whole Lotta' Humbucker

SH-16 59/Custom Hybrid (A bit outside the lane lines for PAF, but still PAF'ish)

I have had great luck with both of these winds, but they are a bit more dependent on the guitar, where a really hot pickup can sort of overpower the nuances of any guitar you put them in.

I can only add the Seymour Duncan 78 model PAF.....9K A-2 magnet to the above list.

I tried the 59/custom hybrid years ago and it was not my favorite but if I played it again I may change my mind......

I have a 78 model and love it. because of PDC's recommendations for the SH-18 Whole Lotta Humbucker I tried it out and I like it quite a bit and they can be had for cheap. I got mine for 80's bucks shipped and it rates right up there with my 78 model output wise yet is still PAF and it is potted. You can find 78 model reasonable now as well.

All of these are wax potted I don't really care for unpotted pickups.

Brandonwound T-Tops, Dimarzio 36ths, SD A2P, older 57 classic/57+/BB1/2/3, lots of great recommendations already damn

A few of the ones I've had over the years...
