So if you hadn't had it delivered by the guy up the road, they wouldn't have cared and you'd be shit out of luck on your package or money back, as I doubt Fed Ex would pay out even if insurance was purchased.

Looks that way The whole time I never talked to a person from fedex ,it was a robot or something. Which is better than the people that barely speak English.
I was trying to get a refund from Walmart 2 weeks ago and I could barely understand the guy and I ask him. "Where you at, India?" he replied TEXAS.

I wish I had a choice when buying items online. I boycotted UPS for years after shipping amps and receiving amps etc. and the condition of the box it came in. Most looked as if they were dropped from a plane.
