I've owned many original plexi 50's over the years, and the Tourmaster run at 50 watts, Ch 3 is as good or better than any of my old plexi's...In my Lynchbox, the Brahma, SL+ and Plexi mods are right on as well...As Jeff said, the power amp has so much to do with the feel of an amp....I also run a Bad Cat attenuator...keeps the power tubes working at lower volumes.....And like Nick said, the ability to change tubes, bias, tubes, ect is part of the equation for the perfect tone......I just love these amps
