Finally figured out 5150-III effect loop hiss!!! Man, i feel like a dumbass! It is always the smallest things...doh!!

I guess I'm just lucky with the noise floor then because I have all my pedals pre and post on 1 of these Onespots and it is pretty damn quiet. And that includes an ABY pedal and 4 pedals in the loop of my Splawn. I do have a Boss NS running though.

I ended up getting a Onespot last night and is nice and quiet. I can deal with a bit of noise but thst loop issue was like an airplane firing up.
 
Sounds like an adventure. I get so paranoid about Power. I use Strymon power supplies mounted under my pedalboard, but being paranoid I also took a piece of cardboard, covered it in black tape and wedge it between the top of the Power supply and the bottom of the board. Probably doesn’t make a difference but it feels reassuring anyway.

I have actually thought about doing something like that, like cardboard, etc, lol.

Yeah has definitely been an adventure but cool when you finally figure something out with gear. I'm not OCD about noise but when that loud hiss would be on, it would overpower everything and would make me feel like putting my guitsr down.

I love these newer 5150-III amps man. Just have such a great tone and feel and inspiring to play. I love my stealth and regular 6l6 50w.
